    THE VERY BOTTOM LINE IS THAT TOO MANY BILLS HAVE EXCESSIVE NON-RELATED RIDERS ON THEM.

    What I am saying - since I need to spell it out - He did NOT vote against the VAWA, he voted against the non-related riders.

    So murdering female babies in the womb is not Violence Against Women! So sex selection abortion is not Violence Against Women. So the very act of abortion is not Violence Against Women?

    I thought that Nixon defeated JFK in debate but Nixon did not understand how TV worked and he looked bad personally. The press said that JFK won. The Mayor of El Paso, Raymond Tellez, a real gentleman, campaigned in Spanish for Kennedy in Los Angeles, and was rewarded with an ambassadorship to Costa Rica.

    Someone said that Rubio should have excused himself and said that he needed some water but it was just a rookie error. Maybe he should have had a glass for the water, as in the old days. The Democrats are making an international case out of something that does not amount to a hill of beans.

    Do the Democrats have anyone who is fluent in both English and Spanish?

    The Democrats probably do not want a Cuban-American to bring up the Bay of Pigs and their perfidy. I am guessing that most people in Latin America have no use for Castro. Many people from Latin America do not like the old country and are here for more than money--they are here for freedom.
