Did anybody hear Way of the Master's broadcast today from the convention in Carolina?

Shelby Phelps (daughter of Fred) was protesting and they decided to interview her on the spot. It was a hoot.

She was screaming at everyone that they were going to Hell and when Todd, the host, asked her how they could avoid Hell, she said that it was by keeping the law. When he demonstrated that she hadn't kept the law, she went bersek (uh, make that more berserk) and started screaming at him telling him he was going to Hell for telling her the same thing she had just been telling everyone else.

    It was pretty funny.

If you haven't heard it, you can hear it here:

    Just click on "listen now".

    It's a hoot.

Found it. I think he nailed her pretty good. She even contradicted Calvinist theology that she claims to believe in when she denied that sinful man cannot keep the law, and stated that they choose which way they are to go. That is much more Arminian of a thought than Calvinist.

If you go to their website and read her letters, you will see so much hatred you will be appalled. I read a few, and she is as filthy as her father is. She curses, yes I said curses at people in her replies to their inquiries and accuses some of not knowing what the Word of God is.

    Sad.

Having eyes to see, they see not.

Oh this is beautiful! I wish I could listen to the Way of the Master radio program more often.

11 children she has........how does she have the time to get so worked up about stuff outside her house?

    Thanks Mike McK!

Did you keep listening? I like this host. Im glad that he points out she and her group are not true Baptists.

Just so you know, the show repeats itself over and over until the next day's show. It runs 24/7 so if you ever want to listen and you can't listen then, you can always listen later.

Good question. She even said that she goes all over the country and does this every day, so you have to wonder how much attention she pays to the kids.

Yes, I listened to the whole thing. The show is actually two hours. Magnetic Poles just gave us a link to that one hour to make it easier for us to check it out.

    Both hours were good.

    Mike, that was funny.

These people are in desperate need of our prayers.

Did this woman claim to hold to the doctrines of grace?!?! Wow. She has "false prophet" written all over her. How sad.

    Honestly? I really couldn't tell.

First she said that he was going to Hell because he didn't keep the law and then, when he pointed out that she hadn't kept the law, she said he was going to Hell because he believed that he could be saved by keeping the law.

Mostly, I was too busy laughing, especially when she said, "don't you 'shsh' me!"

He did bring up a really interesting point, though. I don't know how many people listened to the whole hour, but he did do very well talking about how Proverbs teaches us to diffuse such a situation as he had with her.

She did claim to be a calvinist, and a lot of her responses hedged toward hyper.

I actually found her words to be a contradiction to Calvinist theology:

uhhhh ya think? I would find her and her churches brand of calvinism the epitome of hyper-calvinism.

She, as well as other followers of Fred Phelps are just another example of following a false prophet.
