Two nations are threatening American law-enforcement officers who protect this republic's southern border. Mexico is the obvious threat. The other will stun you.

Men dressed as Mexican soldiers have set foot on American soil more than 200 times in the last decade. The Mexican government claims they are impersonators helping drug warlords' shipping into the United States. Whether soldiers or soldiers of fortune, Mexico has done virtually nothing to stop incursions by heavily armed forces in military-style Humvees.

Mexico's inaction surely has helped embolden drug warlords salivating to crack the U.S. market. Hudspeth County, Texas, is just east of El Paso along the Mexican border. The sheriff's department has heard that drug dealers have put bounties as high as $10,000 on the deputies' heads -- and threatened their wives and children. That would explain the armed guards at the schools their children attend.

What is inexplicable is that the other country targeting our law enforcement border agents is the United States.

Border Patrol agents Jose Alonso Compean and Ignacio Ramos shot Osvaldo Aldrete Davila, an illegal alien and admitted drug smuggler, in the buttocks in February 2005, according to the El Paso Times. Mr. Davila claims he was not armed. The agents say he was. They did not report the shooting but did report that the van Davila was driving to an El Paso stash house had 700 pounds of marijuana.

The Department of Homeland Security should have sent medals to each agent.

Instead, it sent an investigator from its Office of Inspector General. He concluded that since Davila was escaping back to Mexico, the agents should not have fired. And since they picked up their shell casings, that supposedly made it a cover-up.

A federal grand jury in April charged the agents with assault with intent to commit murder, assault with serious bodily injury, and assault with a deadly weapon -- potentially 40 years in federal prison.

    It gets worse.

Mr. Davila was offered immunity on the drug charge in exchange for his cooperation to help convict the Border Patrol agents. And the investigator arranged for Davila -- a Mexican national in the drug trade who sneaked into America illegally -- to be treated alongside American military personnel and their family members at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, so his urethra could be rebuilt.

    It gets worse still.

Your're right brother. Christians should stop voting. It would send a message and besides that it only encourages them.

And I thought our administration was against terrorism. I guess that all depends on which way the wind blows, if the wind blows from the East the administration is against terrorism, if the wind blows from the south then they are for terrorism and we are the ones depriving these poor peoples of jobs here in America that no one wants.

Good luck with that. </font>[/QUOTE]It is a rather giddy thought though. I'd certainly be willing to give it a try! I'm tired of politics as usual -- whatever the party.

mcdirector, I tried to give it a try during the last election and they nearly skinned me alive here on the BB! It was kinda scary.

I do see a mood on the news/politics forum of depression/despair, and fear that I find odd. Am I the only one noticing it. I do think that all of the things that are happening really do seem to be pointing toward end times, and that is very exciting to me. Of all the generations, it's us? Wow. Can you imagine being here and alive on that day?

    Gina,
You are completely right. The trick is not to care what people on BB think about the situation. If they want to sacrifice their values on the alter of the republican party, that is their business. There are enough people who didnt vote and those who are sick of both parties, we could win.

A Christian's view on all these problems can be found by typing in this--Watson's Web--- in your search bar. Here is just an amazing array of information.

I'm not surprised that you are seeing a mood of depression despair and fear Gina. Untold huge amounts of effort and money has gone into public relations to engineer those feelings in us.

The PTB prefer us to feel that we are in a hopless situation. Makes us more subservient and pliable to their demands for more money and more power. Both are more easily consolidated under these conditions.

    Welcome aboard btw mima.

We just need to be careful that our disatisfaction with the present two party system doesn't lead us to support some radical who spouts some of the stuff we want to hear, yet have other agendas we're not even noticing. Last election, it seems the board was evenly divided between Bush and Peroutka of the Constitution Party. And even those for Bush seemed to be that way only because they knew Peroutka couldn't win, and they didn't want the votes falling to the Democrats. But that movement is scary.

I say forget the presidential elections all together they're rigged so that no matter which party is in power the globalist's agenda is forwarded. Concentrate on putting trustworthy people that are well educated in the principles this country was founded on and are willing to protect them into local office and congress and go from there.
