This anthem came from You-tube, and it about sums up the division in this nation. America had better change, and change SOON, or there could be anarchy and civil war right in our backyards. This song speaks of the frustrations and desire for America to return to what once made it great.

Give it a listen, and see for yourself that the winds of change have begun...

The starting point in rebuilding the United States is re-establishing the gold standard and to make the dollar as good as gold once again. Without a sound currency we cannot rebuild our nation.

While a gold standard would be nice, the problems in our country are more spiritual in nature than financial. If we Christians would do a better job at living for God, Satan would not have such a stronghold here.

I seriously doubt that the country is in any worse spiritual shape than it ever has been. Outwardly, yes things have been different. But as far as how people have always acted I doubt it is any different. It's just that the public veneer has been eroded.

You might find this to be surprising:

"In The Churching of America, 1776-1990, the authors [including Stark] reconstructed church membership rates, beginning in 1776 and ending in 1990 . . . The reason the book's title refers to the churching of America is because through the past two centuries Americans have become far more churched--an increasingly higher percentage actually belong to a local congregation." - www.andyrowell.net/andy_rowell/2008/11/weekly-usa-church-attendance-the-sociologists-weigh-in.html

Oh no! Authors have said this!
    Published authors at that!
    (Including Stark.)
But.....wait.....didn't God say in the end times that people would not follow Him?
    Oh, the horrors!

WOW! Maybe....just maybe......what God said in His word to us is true.
(Course, that's just me, believing what He said.)
    But I digress..........:godisgood:

The starting point for rebuilding America isn't the gold standard. The starting point is believing in Jesus Christ. He is the standard we have turned away from. All our blessings flow from God and any "rights" we have came to us only by His grace. What we are doing as a nation reflects what we have become on the inside regardless what we say on the outside. America's greatness came from God as a blessing to us and we, as a nation, are increasingly neglecting to praise Him for it both publicly and privately.
