Isn't it wonderful to have such a wise and beneficent president. With the Big O, all we have to do is bow toward DC and all our needs will be met with no effort on our part. Sounds like the same Utopia promised by Marx, etal.

I don't care who did what. This is not about Republicans versus Democrats.

Whether Bush did it or whether Clinton did it or whether Obama did it, I don't care. Republicans and Democrats, Bush and Obama are just two sides of the same coin.

The only difference between Republicans and Democrats, as Glenn Beck is want to say, is that Democrats want to take this country to Hell in a rocket ship while Republicans want to take the country to Hell in a horse and buggy.

The only reason I mentioned Obama by name is that I was referring to something that he, specifically, did, not to demonize him or to make one party look better than the other. I've been a very vocal and consistent critic of Bush and the Republicans, too, so save the "Oh, it's OK when your guy does it, huh?" game for somebody else.

Your posts do not reflect that mind set. You have consistantly and even your signature bashes the Democrats, while you remain silent on Republicans. It is not Democrats vs Republicans, it is the present form of government vs the Constitution.

With all the czars the zero is appointing, my question is, what are we still paying congress ? Seems like redundancy, to me. Instead of raising my taxes to a punitive level, seems we could donate congressional pay to the needy. Doesn't anyone really care about the needy ?

No, I am saying it's not fair for the right to criticize Obama for doing what presidents do. Reagan did it and they want him put on Rushmore.

But my point is this, now that Bush has bought these companies and invested our tax dollars, wouldn't it be negligent of the president who inherited these companies to let them fail so that there is no chance of the people recuperating a single cent? In the midst of the greatest economic crises since the great depression, wouldn't it be negligent for the president to allow companies the tax payers own to fail?

Obama is being criticized for what he is doing with the hot potato he was passed without giving him any credit for at least doing SOMETHING as opposed to having us just hold the potato. Sure he could fold his arms and stick out his lips mad that Bush bought these companies (like many republican's) but as president we asked him to lead us the best he can.

Is his ideas the best in the world? Only history will tell.
Should we criticize him for trying to do something? No, that is what we elected him to do.

You would be correct if the constitution was a static document. However, the authors of the constitution left ways for it to be changed and adjusted over time. If ever the government is in conflict with the constitution, they can simply amend the constitution so that it conforms with government.

I don't know why you guys pretend that the constitution was written in stone...

Also, did you know that the first act Alexander Hamilton, a founding father, did as secretary of the treasury was to take all the war debt from the states which made the first national debt.

So it seems we are running the country in the same direction the founding fathers ran it. If that is unconstitutional, then you need to questions our founding fathers???

The Constitution is written in stone unless it is properly amended. democrats/Marxists simply want judges who see the Constitution as the work of ignorant men who did not understand their desire to establish a utopian Marxist state.

Obama consistently ignores and circumvents the Constitution, thus the appointments of czars without congressional vetting, approval, or oversight. Congress is just as guilty for continuing to let him make these appointments. We need to take our country back from all of them.
