Well the name is out, and ....

Yes, the police officer is truly the biggest victim of all of this.

 

Turns out Michael was a suspect in a convenience store robbery.

Photos have surfaced to bolster the case that the police officer was doing his job apprehending a suspect in a robbery.

And apparantly the penalty for theft in Missouri is a public street execution.

 

Really stupid statement.

If it turns out he assaulted the police officer and tried to take his weapon, and the officer feared for his life, deadly force was in order.

We don't know that yet, just as we didn't know Michael was a thief and a bully.

 

Every account of the incident from both witnesses might authorize a shot during the initial struggle. If and I am using the word "if" these witnesses stories are confirmed then the final showdown after the brief foot chase would be damning to the officer. Now we wait and see.

According to the police Brown was shot on the sidewalk, about 35 feet from the police car. How is an unarmed suspect 35 feet away causing the officer to be "fearing for his life?"

 

Between that and how the police force treated the media upon arrival and their overhanded attempt at crowd control. I swear it is like they are trying to destroy their own credibility.
