Franklin is right, and very bold to state the truth publicly.

I believe you. But if you look at Islamic countries and what life is like there, especially for women, it is not a pretty picture.

MP, he's not talking about the sanitized version of Islam that you see here in the U.S.

Franklin Graham is spot on. We need more Christians to wake up and see the truth he is speaking about!

What exactly do you want us to do about it?

For one, let's admit to ourselves the true nature of Islam (particularly outside the US).

Two, when we see an act of terror or violence, let's not do what our media--and president--do. If it's an Islamo-terrorist act of violence, call it as such. That doesn't mean we're trying to rouse up a vigilante group for a revenge killing. It just means we're telling the complete truth as it relates to events that occur.

so your denying islam teaches to beat your wife murder your children, kill anyone who does not convert, everyone not muslim is your enemy?

some people don't know the truth, even when it flies an airplane into a build, or blows up a bus of kids.

Some want pastors to wear a tie on Sunday but can't seem to grasp the concept of the threat that Muslims pose to our country and way of life.

As Michael Savage has noted, Israel evolved out of killing smart mouthed children and stoning adulterers but Islam has not evolved. The peaceful Moslems are not "good" Moslems.

The crazy thing is that the Christian Reconstructionists would have us revert to stoning those who break the 613 statements of Moses.

Can you name even one person who advocates such?

Or is this just more of your endless hyperbole?

I'm not surprised he said that. In Franklin Graham's book, "The Name," he really blasts Islam.

My pastor wears a suit and tie every Sunday and you know what else, I think choirs should wear robes like we do at my church. It's just one of the perks of being a choir member. What does this have to do with Muslims? Nothing, but you brought it up.

You know, we wouldn't mind a bit if you would stay on topic for more than a sentence...

I know several Muslim families, and the worst of them can be counted as among the most wonderful people I know. It makes you wonder if some folks on this thread have ever regularly associated with a Muslim.

John, again this isn't about the sanitized version of Islam that you have come into contact with. I wonder if you have ever run into the Muslims that Franklin is speaking of?

This is just one more instance that answers your question on this thread- http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=63474 !

Too much jumping at an opportunity to disagree, without considering the point of the op. Typical of several on this board.

    A typical example::::
OP: "Be careful of placing your Christmas tree too close to the fireplace; awful easy for a spark to ignite the tree!!"

(take your pick) responds: "I've had my tree in my den with the fireplace for the last ten years, and never had a problem; you're overreacting!!
    "
