    What dd you thonk of it? My main problem was that he holds to the Kneosis theory on Jesus...

    My pastor eaned his Phd in NTteology, nd wroye bok on the trinity, and hispublisher wnated him to pare it down, a s "theology for dummies" type book!

    He is far more difficult to read than Erickson but far deeper.

    I have it as well as his seminary text. He is not Reformed.

    Not a legalistic IFB text! Erickson is Baptist and he uses the NIV!

    Also to note for personal level I would recommend Everyone's a Theologian by RC Sproul.

    Grudem and Erickson are bot god at giving a summary of all held positions regarding major dotrines, Grudem would be reformed, Erickson Baptit, but not so much eithergetting really into thedoctrines..

    That would pretty muh betesame for many ofthe older thologians, such as a Hodge/Berkhoff...

    I like John Leadley Dagg's writings. He also has a treatise on Church Order that is printed separately from Manual of Theology, and (I think) sometimes called Manual of Theology, Part II.

    I think W. T. Conner, a Southern Baptist at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, wrote a systematic theology. I don't have it and don't know that for sure.
