Aren't we all considered to be part of the "baptist family?"

It all depends on one's interpetation of evangelical and fundamental. When we formed our group in Canada, the term fundamental had taken on a different meaning, so we called ourselves The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada.

We still hold to the fundamentals of the faith. There are even questions about the term evangelical anymore.

    Cheers,

Fundamentalists are historically considered to be a group within wider evangelicalism.
