    Hi All,
I am a former Sunday School Teacher (I taught ages 1-8, for 4 years) Now I am enjoying listening to all those sermons I missed! It's where I need to be right now...recharging!! :D
I always post from home, because though we have Internet access at work it's only for the boss!
    Hugs,

Anybody know what the utility player is in baseball? That's me. I'm a Sunday School teacher (from babies to old men), Usher, a member of 3 choirs, and anything else they ask me to do at my extremely small countrified National Baptist Convention USA affiliated church. I post from my room at Mommy's house. Getting ready to go to Columbia International University Seminary in hopes of becoming a civilian or USAF Chaplain...

...and, no, I'm not Danish :D [IMG] [IMG]

    Organizer of pro-life activities.

One of my favorite activities was when church

I help lead the band and up until last year, taught Sunday School. I quit because I just had so many irons in the fire that I couldn't give the class the attention they deserved. The guy who replaced me is actually a better teacher, anyway so I didn't feel quite so bad about leaving.

I also volunteer as one of the handymen and I'm on an ad hoc committee that oversees social outreaches (food pantry, coat drive, shut-in ministries, etc).

I either post from the bank where I work part time or from the firehouse where there is a LOT of free time. Being a firefighter is a lot like being the Maytag man.

Pastored a church in me old country. Licentiate in a PB church in this beautiful country.
Usually post from home, but sometimes post from work during lunch break.
Married to the same woman for last 32 years, still amazed at what I discover about her. Love all of God's people, especially Baptists, particularly PB's. Work as online tech support for Comcast.

I've been teaching everyother wed. children on mission(we are almost done with this round). I also teach VBS, 10 years now, grades 1&2. I do a little here and there whatever needs to be done. Haven't been involved in a certain ministry for a while, looking for something now. Used to teach childrens Sunday school, and was leader of the bus ministry for several years.
    I post from home.

Joy, I'd like to now more about your women's ministry. I think we really need one. My pastor has talked to me about doing it. I know nothing about it.

I am a wife and mother. My husband is an ordained deacon, but our church right now does not have deacons. We are basically lay people who love Jesus and desire to serve Him in a biblical church. My husband and I serve in leadership of our AWANA program and I have taught youth girls many times, various classes. We are very committed to keeping the church pure and the teaching of the gospel in our everyday life. We appreciate expository preaching,in depth studies of God's Word and simple but deep worship styles in corporate worship. We long to worship God in spirit and truth and remove all the *fluff* from church.

I am very active in the music ministry.(Choir, string trio, brass ensemble) I also take care of the media issues that come up.(Sound, video, PA system) I pick up a few people that can't drive themselves to church.

At the present time, my church is sending me to the Bible Way Institute of New England. I don't yet know where it will lead.

I post from work, I sit in front of several PCs all night long, doing technical support of machinery that seldom breaks down.

I'm a graduate student in eletrical engineering in Palo Alto, CA. I design digital and analog integrated circuits, and might be (Lord willing) moving to either Austin, TX or Palm Bay, FL when I graduate in June. I'm married and have one three month year old little boo-boo. I plan to work for ten or fifteen years but me real desire is for God to call me into the full time pastoral ministry. In my last year of undergrad I was torn fifty fifty (and I mean exactly fifty fifty) between going into seminary or going to graduate school in engineering. I was just begininng to lean towards seminary when a converstion with my spiritual mentor and friend sent me the other direction. God certainly led me on the right decision for I have a lot of maturing to do spiritually before I should start preparing for the ministry. I wouldn't want to be another baby in Seminary who was more about theology (as important as that is) then an actual desire to sheperd God's people. I need some real life experience working in the Church before I make it my full time career. Until then, I have plenty of time to read the Bible, study Greek and Hebrew (my two hobbies) and I love Electrical engineering. This is all probably more then you wanted to know.

Pete, I would recommend the pastoral field. I've been in the electronics field for 25 years, & last year's financial crisis brought most of the companies in the U.S. to their knees.
