Are ye going to wear something green, or is it in ye?

I for one will not be wearing green. I have light freckled skin, with very green eyes and have Irish blood from both parents. So, "Is it in you?"

I'm supposedly not Irish though the red hair seems to tell a different story. :D

However, since we is on spring break here, Monday will be spent at church sewing Easter outfits with several of the ladies while our children play in the church gym.

We will be wearing our threads. :D

I will be wearing a green shamrock pin while I prepare corned beef and cabbage for supper.

I don't have much green clothing. Only a certain shade of grassy green looks good on me. But I think I'll dress the kids up for school, my little leprachauns.

    love,

I am only part Irish, but it's the best part! I participate in the wearin' o' the green every day, since my eyes are green. But I'll wear a green shirt anyway, just so I don't get pinched!!

I know corned beef and cabbage are popular supper choices for St. Paddy's Day, but my family doesn't like 'em! So I'll be having Irish Stew and Irish Soda Bread instead.

When the women wear green on St. Patricks Day, it takes all of the excitement away

Well so far the Shirts and the Others are neck and neck. And 2 of us have it in our blood and 2 have confessed the truth that they are not Irish, too bad :tear:.

Well, I am the "lucky" one and actually here. I will try to do the traditional thing and find a sprig of fresh shamrock to wear, but we will of course have bacon and cabbage for dinner like everyone else.

Not American sliced bacon of course, but joint of bacon.

I think (not sure cause some broadcasts are only for here) but you maybe able to watch the Dublin parade HERE I believe it will start about 8.30 am EDT

Be careful though - the poor girls from Brazil doing the Samba had to have nearly frozen last year.

This is shocking, I thought for sure that a tie or a hat were going to lead the way. A shirt is in second with other pulling away for the lead.

I won't be wearing anything special. I think I might wear green pants (but as a "Brit" by that, I mean underpants, not trousers) and that's because they are the next pair in the drawer, not because it's St Patrick's Day.

I will be wearing a uniform to school, like everyday. The kids wear green shirts anyway, so I wont get to pinch any of them, but mine is Maroon. I better find some earrings or something or I will come out black and blue
