When I was a kid, I spent several summers in Ireland.

Other than that, Canada and Mexico.

If you have to go to Canada, go to the western part.

I was actually supposed to spend a years in Mexico but it didn't work out that way.

I had a great time there when I've gone there.

USA, Canada, Hawai'i, Japan, USSR (RSFSR), Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, FRGermany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK (England), almost Ireland (got within a hundred yards or so in Cork harbour but didn't actually set foot on the auld sod), Mexico (less than 6 hours), Iceland (two fly-by drop-ins at KeflavĂk), Luxembourg, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and almost Austria (got within a stone's throw of it in the Liechtenstein alps). Also a number of sovereign Indian nations' reservations.

Several years ago, our church sponsored a group of Ukranian Christians and I had the chance to go back with their pastor. I never took them up on it and that's still one of my big regrets.

Ukraine is a beautiful country. I was in Western Ukraine (all five trips)--the mountains are breathtaking. The country side is beautiful. The people are hungry for all kinds of realationships, particularly Christian relationships.

    They are a downcast people....

    Saggy

I have to agree about the Ukrainian people. I have some wonderful memories of some visits there. I never got to the part you apparently visited, but spent several weeks in Kyiv and Chernobyl working on nuclear facility safety issues. In days gone by, used to collect used books and magazines to ship over there for the folks we met, and to some of the libraries. Also found that many of these folks were more than happy to have used American Computers, whether they work or not. We took several computers, some functional, some not, but the folks were able to get them all working within a day or two.

As you know a good many people there are somewhat fluent in English, so that isn't a major problem for many people. I was involved in some scientific missions, so we focused on sending scientific literature, but folks would like to have most anything they can get their hands on.

Well so far America...particularly the south! I've never been out of the south!
Church went on mission's trip to Grenada and I was going to go, had eveything planned and ha;f my money raised, but then my grandpa got cancer. We didn't know it at the time but we almost lost him. Thank God he's still here and for now cancer free!
Then last month some folks were going to Mexico for a missions trip, and they asked me to go. I was already for that and then found out my great granny was terinaly ill.
So I don't supose for now it's God's will that I go anywere, but preacher has been talking about another missions trip to Grenada next summer, and daddy said if everything went well most likely I could go. I almost can't imagine it, but the folks that went this time said the folks in Grenada they talked to actualy thanked them for a track! I have hardly ever run into someone that did that!
