Yes, the "dis' was indeed meant to be there. While I certainly assume that most of us on this board like and enjoy Christmas-- or at least some of the things about it, like decor, visits, giving, music...-- there are, I think, inevitably some qualities about it that we don't care for. This is not primarily about doctrinal arguments concerning the holiday, although it's hard to ask the basic question here and exclude that part. But this is really about point and counter point; for example, there may be cheer, but is there also sadness?... we may like to give and make people happy, but is that really worth the expense or debt? For kids, is the question really "naughty or nice," or 'haughty and price?' The choice of answers will overlap, but think of your own answers first, then choose the closest to those in the poll choices.
