I actually pm's a moderator a while back asking if they could contact JohnV to see if he was OK. Heard nothing back. I remember a couple years ago him stating he would be gone from the BB for the summer (or something like that). I hope he is OK.

These three individuals apparently got a permanent vacation from the BB. I cannot tell you why, for I have no knowledge of that.

I do miss the posts of npetreley, myself. I like his sense of humor.

I don't particularly remember them, but a check of the members list shows a Johnv and a BrianT, both of whom are apparently still members in good standing with the BB. Neither has posted for a while, but I have no idea why. I did not see a Briant listed.

If you would like one, maybe some BB members can help you, with a short one. Some posters have received them. Maybe you could PM a couple of those who have received them, and they will tell you how you too, can be missed.

Don't be missed, on your own; Let the BB help! :D

Or you could go to another computer and log on with a new ID and let the old one go idle. Meanwhile you could monitor all posts to see if you are missed.

I do know this, when I finally get back on my feet I'll sorely miss all of you. You have become brothers most loved. May God bless all of you.

Personallyy, I think some people deserved to be banned(Joseph Bot.), but as for Nrpeterely? :(

He didn't strike me as a crusading Calvinist.

HBSMN spoke to me not long back. His suspension was only for 10 days. He chose not to come back on the BB.

Not sure what a "crusading Calvinist" is, but even if he was one, how would that bar him from membership of the BB?

I hated to see npet go and some of the others. We disagreed a lot, but that is what these debates are all about. If everyone agreed on everything, it would be "dullsville".

Of course. Anyone can PM me. I have no blocks or ignores in my membership, regarding any BB posters, at all.

But it probably won't help, in this situation.

As far as I know, I have never come close to being given any BB 'vacation' (although I could be mistaken, here, obviously), so I suspect any "hiatus" advice would be guesswork, at best. ;)

    Ahh...

That would be a major BB Rule violation that, when found out, would result in a permanent vacation from the BB.:tonofbricks:
    Ve have vays....

Thanks for the information. I am glad I did use apparently. I have no real personal knowledge of any particular regular BB posters, other than Lou Martuneac, whom I actually met at a Bible conference, some time back, and Joseph M. Smith, who used to be my college pastor, some 40 years ago. I may actually have run into several, and not known it, I guess.

As far as His Blood Spoke My Name, we often disagreed, but I did not take it or mean it, as personal, in any way, nor have I ever suggested banning anyone, other than a couple of outright bigots, spewing outright hate. I have never even recommend banning someone, whom I think is about as far out in left field, as one can get, doctrinally.

    Brother Bob, I totally agree.
You would be high on my list of people I often disagree with but would hate to see leave.

There have been very few who I would actually want permanently banned.

I would imagine that few people are permanently banned.
I got a 10 day suspension once and to be honest, I deserved it.
I had to apologize to get back on and I suspect many are not willing to apologize.

Yes you probably do. No doubt you can identify each computer's IP address. I however openly confess that I have a dual user ID on this board. Five years ago I joined as Melvin Hall. That computer got sick and died. :tear: I lost all info on that unit including passwords. :BangHead: I had been very busy before my foot surgeries and did not spend as much time on it as I am now. In Oct of '07 I tried to log on but was unsuccessful for the above reasons. I then set up this user ID and have enjoyed my time with everyone. :saint: Innocently I have sense found my old list of passwords and have done some playing with the old user ID. So if you should feel the need to enforce the rule please ban the MH ID. I would like to hold onto this Palatka51 user ID and continue to participate with the beloved brethren of BB.

    Thank you and God bless.

    Mel
