Scripture(out of context) has been used to start every kind of cult known to man. Does that make it right? They took Scripture way out of context and then said we were unsaved(in a hidden indirect way) because everybody didn't believe their way. Seems they posted hate in every thread, then when I PM'd Linda about at least posting condolences to Dale in the thread about his grandfather she said , "We only post in threads that the Lord leads us in." It's sad that they felt that the Lord didn't lead them to be nice and offer a soothing word at a time of need. I'm sad that they thought they had to spread their hate at every turn here but, I won't miss them because of it. They never posted anything nice here, except if you agreed with them. If you didn't, you definitely got their hate words and "bad hangover" judgement.

Since when is obedience to God hate? I would not post in a thread I did not feel the Lord was leading me to go in.

The Lord wouldn't lead you to soothe a Brother at a time of lose? The Lord leads EVERYONE to comfort their Brothers and Sisters in a time of need. Their opinion of obedience to God. If anyone didn't agree with that opinion they were "lost". I've said enough on this subject.

Edit: I see from your signature why you take up for them.

I reckon you I'm think hateful because I saw in the obits that a Christian died in our town and I did not call his family or go to the funeral home? Get real. God doesn't lead everyone to do what JerryL thinks is right. Did all members of the BB go in that thread to console with Dale? Do you think all the others are hateful because God didn't lead them to go in there? Edit: I can't imagine a man with whiskey on his breath being an effective witness.

...so I'll ask again...we are permitted to have other gods besides Christ?

Modalism is a direct denial of Christ's deity if you state "thou shalt have no other gods besides Me" doesn't apply to Christ.

From what I see, God was speaking in the singular in Exodus 20:2,3 when He said I am the LORD God... Thou shalt not have no other gods before me. I notice in Genesis 1, when the world was created, God spoke in the plural by saying Let us. Why was it translated I and me instead of us?

as of a minute ago, only 12 people had posted in that thread about Dale's grandpa. So I reckon by JerryL's logic, everyone else on the BB is hateful.

Any speculation as to why He used the singular's I and me instead of the plurals we and us?

No. I made it a point to remind her that even though SFIC and her disagreed so strongly with Dale in others cases, it would be nice for them to show compassion at his lose. If you didn't see a hateful attitude from about every post of theirs, you weren't reading them.

According to Scripture, the Lord our God is One (Deut 6:4).

Scripture doesn't support either tritheism or modalism.

Did Jesus not say that "The Father and I are One"?

You never answered the question (and I'm beginning to see why, "birds of a feather...")...can we have other gods besides Jesus Christ...yes or no?

Webdog, that's a great reference (John 10:30) in this discussion.

I can go in every thread they posted that you also posted in and show that your replies were what were hateful, not their posts. You redefining hateful?

I do not deny the trinity. I do know the difference between us and me though. God certainly was speaking in the singular in Exodus 20 when He said I and me.

    I think you just did.

Notice this Diggn in the Word just shows back up today.

Happens to hold to a similar signature line as SFIC

I wonder if SFIC has THREE BB accounts...
