Not much protection, it seems, in the justice system. This man admits molesting a child, starting when she was six. He says she wanted it. He blames her. Over a hundred times, so he gets 12 months in prison. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...mistake-in-child-sex-case-sentencing/6643517/ This man stole from Wal-Mart and assaulted an employee when confronted. He got three years in prison. His partner, who didn't assault anyone, received four months. http://wfin.com/findlay-man-sentenced-stealing-tiffin-walmart/ Pretty pathetic. People like to tell kids to speak out against abuse, but more and more, courts hand kids to their abusers, or hand out light sentences and kids still live in fear. If they get the nerve to bring it up as adults, think they are strong enough, then they quickly realize that what they feared all along is true. Nobody really cares. That's just life. Interesting society we live in. The truth about what REALLY happens when someone discloses this type of abuse is a far cry from what people think and are told will happen, even, as you can see, when the criminal admits to the crime.
