What is "worldly"?

    From the definitions on worldliness that I am seeing on this board is seems no one can be worldly.
    Can someone give me an example of a worldly person? Would Madonna be worldly? Jerry Falwell? Benny Hinn? Billy Graham? Elton John? Who?

    I think Dr. Bob and Scarlett's definitions are very accurate definitions of what worldly is.

    Can we say, then, that Worldliness is any heart attitude that gets between YOU and GOD? Seems that Dr. Bob listed Paul's great examples from Galatians. We ALL have issues to deal with.

    I think this is why we need to make an effort to know the individuals in our flock. You don't know somebody just by talking with them on Sunday mornings, much less by merely watching them across a bustling Life Center.

    Once I got to know some of the biggest rebels in the group, I was able to motivate them toward the Way, the Truth, and the Life. These people just might become your biggest allies. Ask God to show you what's going on beneath the surface.
