Where were you when man landed on the moon
I was a young boy, but I remember it well. My whole family watched it together on television, it was pretty exciting to watch.
I lived in Anchorage Alaska, and stayed up all night to watch the landing on TV. (I was in high school. 40-year reunion coming next year!)
I was too young~~my first significant historical event I remember is the Watergate hearings; I still haven't forgiven the networks for pre-empting Saturday morning cartoons with their coverage:laugh:
I was sitting in my Kindergarten class watching it on TV. Or First grade.
I was in England.
Contrary to what my children believe, I was not around back then or during the great flood.
We did not have a TV so I did not see it, but I remember when it happened. I was at my great aunt's house and I remember looking up at the moon and asking why we could not see the men or the ship of they were up there.
I remember the Apollo 13 mission as well because I remember my dad telling my sister that the men might go to awful extremes to survive if they needed to.
I was a little bitty girl and while I remember watching it on tv, I have no idea who I was with or anything else about that day. Just that I looked at the TV to see what all the excitement was about. lol
Watched it for about five minutes, got bored and went out to play.
I marked ''other" because I watched it on TV at my elementary school.
I watched it on t.v. with my parents, and then I went outside and gazed at the moon, knowing that they were there....amazing!
