    You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists

    I can live with that.

Mine said I'm in the wrong denomination. I've been a Baptist since accepting Christ in 1963, and it says I am 100% Evangelical Holiness/ Wesleyan, and that I am influenced by the Wesleyans. That's new to me.

Of course,, I might have answered some of the questions incorrectly since I didn't understand some of them or know who the people were that were mentioned. I disagreed with any I didn't understand. The rest of the quiz was:

    Fundamentalist: 79%; I thought I was 100% Fundamentalist.
Neo orthodox: 64%; I have no idea what that is.
Reformed Evangelical: 50%; I have no idea what that is either.
Emergent/ Postmodern: 50%; I have no idea what that is either, but modern I'm not.
Charismatic/ Pentecostal: 50%; This one surprised me. I'm very uncomfortable with emotions and physical displays.
Classical Liberal: 36%; ME, a LIBERAL? I don't think so.
Modern Liberal: 7%; Not even that much liberal.
Roman Catholic: 0%; Now I definitely agree with this one. :godisgood:

I did have a problem with questions that didn't say enough like saying that Jesus was a good moral example or something like that. He was that and far more. I wasn't sure how to answer that. I didn't want to disagree with it, and yet agreeing with it made it sound as though I thought He was JUST a good moral example, or am I being too picky?

I don't think so, but I tend to judge out-of-context statements by what they say, not what they might mean coming from someone with an agenda.

You are absolutely right to say that Jesus was a great moral teacher, but the person who created the test seems to think that is a statement that a liberal would make.

Some of the questions as others have pointed out are difficult to answer. for example....... We are called to pursue holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.......... While it is true we need holiness to see the Lord, it won't be our holiness that gets us there........

You are a Reformed Evangelical. You take the Bible very seriously because it is God's Word. You most likely hold to TULIP and are sceptical about the possibilities of universal atonement or resistible grace. The most important thing the Church can do is make sure people hear how they can go to heaven when they die.

You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do so.

    Emergent/Postmodern 71%
    Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 54%
    Neo-Orthodox 50%
    Classical Liberal 43%
    Reformed Evangelical 43%
    Modern Liberal 36%
    Charismatic/Pentecostal 36%
    Roman Catholic 18%
    Fundamentalist 7%

I was a little surprised at these results. I don't see myself as alienated from traditional church since I am very active in my local church (deacon, SS teacher, choir president). I wish these categories had specific definitions to differentiate them from similar categories. It was an interesting exercise, but, as with most polls, there are gaps in the results.

This test is made up by an individual not necessarily some educated and knowledgable person. If you read the questions carefully they show a bias against certain beliefs and present them in a rather awkward light. I struggled to answer some of them.

Same here. I didn't know whether to agree or disagree with some of them. As I said, they mentioned names I have never heard before. I didn't know how to answer those, so I disagreed with them. That's why I'm not putting any stock in it saying I am 100% Methodist. I've been a Baptist for for over 40 years. Besides, I've heard some disturbing things about the Methodists and the sins they are allowing in their churches.
