A poll on musical instruments.
Maybe there could have been a "None" option for our CoC friends.
I thought that Piano and Guitar would prove popular, what I did not expect though is that the Violin would score so high? Not that it is bad though, a Violin played right is a beautifull instrument!
Three people at this point have had the bagpipes used! I bet that was lovely!
The poll did not mention Cello. On Mother's Day an 11-year-old girl played a lovely Cello solo in our worship. And at the church I once served as pastor, a physician often graces the services with his Cello playing. I love it!
You did not mention hardly any percussion instruments.
No instruments at all.
Hmmm - it might be easier to pick an instrument that's NOT used at our church....
Can't think of one.
Guitar - yep - all kinds
Piano - yep - real and electronic
Tambourines (with young girls using them in worship)
Cymbals (with the drums)
Bagpipes (beautiful processional for DH's ordination)
Violin - electric, no less!
Sax (gorgeous sax, by the way)
I can just keep going! I love our worship! It certainly makes a joyful noise!
Acoustic instruments of all kinds. Our church has no electricity, way out in the woods.
And what's a violin ? You mean fiddles ? We use those as well.:tongue3:
Hey Mon! Why no steel drums, Mon?
Ya got some? Bring 'em on over!
I we havean oragan & a piano.
2 acoustic guitars
our hearts and nothing else.:love2:
