I would say Gods people should be more heavenly minded. This world is doomed. We should look for a better kingdom. If you have faith in God then I suggest you look to Him and not to the USA or guns, or some paper called the constitution (which is not unique in world history). As we get closer to the NWO, Christians need to pull back from an active role in government and concentrate on walking with God.

I have faith in God to sustain my nation. I do not have faith in someone who denies that God provides nations with the ability to overcome evil. When Christians forget that they must be vigilant to espouse good in a nation's society, that nation will become evil (like a Nazi Germany). I would rather have Christian Generals in charge of the armed forces than a godless atheist.

Your notion of good is skewed.

    Revelation 13:10

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

    Matthew 5:39

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

    Romans 3:13-19

13Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

14Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

15Their feet are swift to shed blood:

16Destruction and misery are in their ways:

17And the way of peace have they not known:

18There is no fear of God before their eyes.

19Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

At some point Christians in America may have to die for their faith, do you think they should love not their lives unto the death, or should they grab their Ak's and murder all those who oppress their constitutional rights to freedom of religion?

Your nation murders one million unborn babies every year. You are way to attached to Sodom, you need to seek the truth and put your trust in God.

Keep posting. The more you say, the more obvious it is that you have some kooky views.

Christians have the power to overcome evil. Nations do not. They act in their own self interest. Of course in a democracy that can be guided by people.

So you reject Romans 13:4 then. JC's version of the Bible does not include this scripture.

And God will judge it, I do not disagree. However, as long as I have a voice I will call on my leaders to make it right with God before He does judge it. I believe that the OT prophet, Jeremiah, is a great example of how we are to be as a Christian to our nation.

I'm glad yopu accept the fact that President Obama is the minister of God. Of course I accept this verse but it's talking about the goivernment's power over its citizens not its relationship to other countries especially with regard to waging war.

I guess Palakas doesn't believe these words on my Lord:

    Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
