You wouldn't recognize the city now, especially the west side.

There used to be a Charlie's Hamburgers on 610, around Richmond Avenue I believe. Get this, that building is now an "erotic stuff" store.

The Katy Freeway is in the middle of being expanded to something like 24 lanes across. Unreal.

For the young whippersnappers: we had computers but they were only keyboards with no hard drive, screen, or memory, but they did have a printer of sorts. Phones were not portable, 33 1/3 was long play, the Internet only existed in a few crazed minds, and nobody personally knew any Buddhists or Muslims in America, but hippies were all around. And almost everybody used the KJV. Then there was 'Nam, but God didn't let me go. He sent me to BJU instead. [IMG]

I graduated high school this year, 2007. I'm starting college pretty soon to be a Physical Therapist. I plan on using that job to witness to people also. Please pray about it.

Del City Oklahoma, class of 1971.

We had about as many in our HS as my wife had in her whole hometown of Stuart IA, [@1500+]

Our class song was We've Only Just Begun by the Carpenters.

Adjusting my bi-focals and looking at the list of top 100 that has been posted, it is hard to believe that Perry Como could make the list, even at #100. Although I did, not many of this generation appreciated crooners like Perry Como. I even liked  Lawrence Welk.
