Sometimes we who love history fail to keep events in perspective in our own lifetime.

So here are 7 sets of events and all you have to do is opt for the correct year in which they occured. Not much space for clues so you have to do with what we have.

ANSWERS are now at the end of this thread.

    Dr. Bob,

Your quizzes are a lot toughter than mine. When and where do you post the answers. By the way, I think you're mistaken on the Contract with America year.

I always let the quiz/poll sit for 4 days or so, then post the answers at the end of the thread. I also edit the title and add ANSWERS to it so any interested will see.

As for the "Contract" it passed Congress Jan 17 of the year and signed into law Jan 23. Same year with Million Man March in Oct 16 and Peacekeepers on Dec 14. So I'll stand by my answer (which you won't know for a while!!)

I don't know why Stalin ended the game in Berlin. It was not a victory for the US. If the table had been turned and Berlin was in the west and the USSR was the strongest nation in the world Stalin would have used his tanks and taken Berlin
