I really like mommyperson's verses, and here are my favorite that someone I graduated High School with wrote in my year book. I have never forgotten that wonderful girl for what she wrote.

    Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
    and do not rely on your own understanding;
6 think about Him in all your ways,
and He will guide you on the right paths.

Philippians 4:4-7: "Rejoice in the Lord alway; and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God that passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus."

I have so many favorites but Psalms 27:1 is a special favorite.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid."

That, according as it is written, he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 1 Cor. 1:31

That not only covers the Gospel, but our walk as well.

Proverbs 31:30 KJB: Favour is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

I pray for God to make and mold me into the Christian lady He would have me to be, and I hope by the time I finish living I will have this verse be a testimony of sorts. I've a long ways to go though.

    Hosea - Chapter 11

Hsa 11:1 When Israel [was] a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Hsa 11:2 [As] they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.

Hsa 11:3 I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.

Hsa 11:4 I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

Hsa 11:5 He shall not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.

Hsa 11:6 And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour [them], because of their own counsels.

Hsa 11:7 And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt [him].

Hsa 11:8 How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? [how] shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? [how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

Hsa 11:9 I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I [am] God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.

Hsa 11:10 They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

Hsa 11:11 They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.

Hsa 11:12 Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
