I was going to make chicken pot pie but we're having a blizzard and I thought it would be fun to have an appetizer meal. So we'll have chili nachos, mozzarella sticks, shrimp cocktail, pigs in a blanket and a big salad. :) I also have leftover cream of turkey soup for anyone who wants it.

We're trying a new chicken curry recipe. I also made a new recipe for cinnamon roll cake today. OH MY WORD!!! Winner!!! I have to test it when it's cold though - I had it still warm and I think I was in paradise!

I don't know what to call it. Lightly stir fried zucchini, broccoli, and green onions with grilled cubed chicken then pan fried some noodles and mixed it all up.

It was relatively quick and easy, but bursting with flavor. It would be really good with some type of seafood and a switch of veggies. Maybe a firm white fish, asparagus, match stick carrots, and keep the zucchini. Or use shrimp. Yeah...shrimp could work too.

Grilled cheese and cream of tomato soup. It's just the younger kids and I tonight and that's what I was in the mood for. :)

I laughed to read of "pigs in a blanket" not heard of that before. Friday is fish day....went around to my mate from Kansas and had takeaway battered fish with chips and a glass of cardboard white, with icecream for desert.

She is trying to organise a wedding where she and Mr Right will go to Kansas for the wedding as her folks are numerous and not in the rich percentile of Americans. Sure glad it is not me....

Burgers on the indoor grill and french fries made in the oven. A little backwards, but it worked.

It's rare for us - finding affordable beef in the city is difficult. (if you want it to taste right from the animal being raised right and slaughtered properly) Makes me want to find a new breed of cow that can be raised in apartments. Tiny little herds, grazing on tiny patches in small backyards. Mini steaks. Mini-burgers. Very short ribs. Hehehehe...

Toasted cheese ravioli, honeydew melon, any raw veggies that look good for munching on. It's too hot for major cooking.
