A Mixture of Patriotic Melodies that I am currently downloading(on a site that allows that the USAF website) for my church's 4th of July Sunday service
Right now I'm listening to a CD by my pastor's wife. Before she got so sick with this lung disorder, she could sing! OH my, you couldn't sit in a church service without crying when she got up to sing. Every once in awhile she sings. I remember when I sat with her in a service, we'd blend our voices in harmony, and it was so pretty!
The CD is:
Joice Batchelor- The Day He Wore My Crown
I'm now listening to Clay Aiken singing Go The Distance!
Randy Travis -- Rise and Shine(this is his first solely Christian Album... it's AWESOME)
Randy Travis, eh? I'll have to go find that one!
do you get World Magazine? It's world news with a CHRISTIAN perspetive... more than half the time they're off on reviews of the top movies and what not... but they had a GREAT article on him this past week... it was great
Randy Travis is one of my all time favorite country singers... Forever and Ever Amen used to be what I was going to dance to when I got married.... but that changed this year when Clay Aiken came on the scene LOL
Right now I've no idea who all is singing on this one. My friend copyied it for me, and it's got hymns by a lot of diffrent people. I just call it "A CD With A Bunch Of Hymns."
Caedmon's Call - Long Line of Leavers
Switchfoot - The Beautiful Letdown
Jars of Clay - Furthermore
These are just a few of the great stuff that I've laid hold of recently, and I know the CAedmon's Call one is old, but it's really deep, and I keep going back to it.
