what's the difference between a judge demanding

    that teacher work for a school district without a contract and a judge ordering a slave being returned to his legal owner? Is the teacher "owned" any less than the slave?

    In the long run it would be cheaper, constitutional and logical for the school board to hire an entire new staff.

    No one has to work without a contract.

    The employee always has the option to quit.

    A slave doesn't have that option.

    Honestly, do you think about this stuff before posting?

    Maybe - maybe not.

    But the parents probably wouldn't like it.

    And no doubt a mob of union thugs would show up to crack some heads it such a thing were to happen. :laugh:

    So why did the teachers vote against the new contact?

    Was their proposed salary way below the medium wage of the community? Did they have less sick days than other union workers? Were they required to work on holidays - oh perish the thought?
