When did the world at large start hating America?

The author left out the part where the plain talking cowboy listens to 3,000 European style socialist "pointy headed elitist intellectual, eggheads" and other assorted internationalist riff raff to base his decisions on for America. Same as would happen if a Harvard educated liberal who speaks in nuanced paragraphs would do, and lead America down the road to the poor house and give more control to the elite. Same bad medicine for America in both cases, but we Americans prefer bad medicine from a Texas cowboy, and that ladies and gentlemen is why George W. Bush is POTUS.

The elite really really hate us now that they know we're onto their little games.

When they accuse us of being arrogant, it truley is because they hate our freedom. They still haven't gotten over that paper we sent them entitled the Declaration Of Independence.

Then we even had the nerve to make our own money that wasn't controlled by them, and to top it all off we didn't care for their secret societies trying to infiltrate and subvert our new nation under God. They never did give up though and now they control almost everything here. Including "our" government.

 

The Monroe Doctrine could have been a the initial rub which got things going. Then there was the Spanish-American War in 1898, in which the U.S. aquired territories (Hawaii and the Philippines)near or in the Asian continent which caused the Asians some anxiety. Additionally, the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) was ended by arbitration and Teddy Roosevelt was called upon to be the chief arbitrator. The Japanese were forever offended because it appeared that Russia was given more concessions than Japan, even though Japan didn't start the war and would likely have beaten Russia into submission had the war not been arbitrated.

These are just a couple of things and I am sure there are other circumstances, like the Barbary Wars LINK which may have caused a progression of dislike for the U.S., but being that we are the good guys, we really shouldn't care too much.

Monroe Doctrine

 

Yeah the Monroe doctrine is another reason the elite had to resort to infiltration tactics. They've managed quite well over two hundred years to do what they set out to do. Ruin America at all costs by introducing liberism, humanism and declaring war against God and our Constitution.

 

But---all those Zero's and Kate's "buzzin'" around at Pearl-----they weren't "buzzin'" around droppin' bombs and launchin' torpedoes because they "liked" us, were they??? Naw!!! They hated our guts way before December 7, 1941!!! The Japs got a "sour" taste in their mouths toward us when we started that oil embargo on them----"You no sell us oil???? We show you who boss is!!!"

When the German sub sunk the Luxury Liner Listonia-----that Sub in WW1-----wasn't exactly acting out some future scene that Hollywood would use for "The Love Boat" Naw!!! They hated our guts!

But the question of "When????" so eliquently asked by LadyEagle-------"When??? C---AAAA---NNN'TTTT put my finger on the answer, Robin!!!! Quick!!! To the Batcave!!!!!"

They began to hate us as soon as they realized they owed us more than they could ever repay.

 

I think it started right after World War II.

General Patton was in hot water before that war was even over because he opposed socialism and communism.

A lot of the world is either socialist or communist.

A lot of it is jealousy. We're the haves. They are the have nots.

Some of it is justified. We "change cultures" and people don't want their cultures erased.

 

Lots of baseless speculation in this thread. "It's because they're jealous of how great we are!"

 

First, the Japanese and the German nations still think they are the master race and would start WW3 if there was a chance of a 4th Reich or a 2nd Far East Asia co-prosperity Sphere. Hitler could win an election in Germany and until this generation (?) the Japanese were "democratic" because the Emporer so ordered.

Second, person tends to hate your guts when he is bailed out with no chance of paying back. That's one reason that France hates the USofA and the rest of Europe. That and dreams of being a mini-master race.

The people posting in this thread about jealousy are arrogant fools who think that Americans are the only people who count. If they had their way all other places would be subservient to the USA. They justify this arrogance based on what OTHER people did: "We wrote the Declaration of Independence! We saved them in WW2!". (Am I doing this right guys?)
