Indeed - that counter would exactly match the number of times it was posted without a reply to the case it makes against Calvinism - this time included as well.

This post Shows the expected response from God by applying the Calvinist principles.

Notice that I DID provide a pro-Calvinist quote IN this instance ON this thread showing each of the points I make in my scenario AND more.

Still - dead silence in defense of the problem this poses for Calvinism. No attempt to extricate Calvinism from the callous view it presents.

Your supposed counterpoint does not address the point made against the Calvinist position. You simply hope to find that the Arminian view might ALSO have its own difficulty in this same scenario.

That is not a defense of Calvinism's problem - it simply seeks to shift the focus.

THis has already been attempted - and the Arminian principles have been shown to hold up EVEN under this scenario - in previous responses as will be re-posted in this response.

So going ahead with your new "Point" (not counterpoint) - we have..

Here is the response to that - already posted when it was raised last time.

HERE is the response expected from God as predicted by applying the Arminian principles.

Neither does your scenario have any merit as a defense of the Arminian view. So what's the point of repeating it ad nauseum?

    DITTO.

And as far as saying no one has dealt with the issue, Bob - we have given answers, you just haven't been listening. And, for that matter, your supposed defense of the Arminian position is just that - supposed.

So, let me ask again - Anybody want to deal with these verses?

Psalm 5:5 - The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.

Psalm 11:5 - The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates.

Rev G - wants us to focus on the following.

The POINT being? That God DOES hate us? Hmm WHO would that be?? Who sins?? Who is guilty of doing iniquity - ?? Well lets see..

Ohh - you meant to edit those texts in Psalms so that they would read "God hates SOME of those who sin" or "God hates the MANY among those who sin but chooses to LOVE the FEW who sin"?

IN Paul's murderous activities against the saints - as Saul - according to your claims for the Psalms above - are you claiming that God hated Saul?

IS it possible that scripture shows God to "LOVE the World" but HATE rebellion and Sin EVEN the rebellion and sin of the saints?

Just exactly how were you planning to edit those texts?

Or MAYBE this IS your response to that Calvinist scenario??!! God turns to you in your anguish over your suffering precious little daughter and says "Well you know - I simply hate a lot of you and she happens to be one of those in that category".

(Not that you would explicitly notice the connection between Calvinist principles teaching/doctrine/belief to that scenario or anything).

    In Christ,

    Bob
