    My family and I will be relocating to Knoxville Tennessee (home of the UT Volunteers) next July.

    Does anybody have any information about the area? Likes? Dislikes? Comments?

    I will be transferring my job but have never been to Tennessee and would like some input so I sort of know what to expect.

    Darla, you'll fall in love with Tennessee. Be warned, however, some of our die-hard Vol fans are of sore disposition right now.

    When you get a chance, be sure to visit NE Tennessee, a.k.a. God's Country. ;)

    But ya'll jis don't know how cuntry I really am. I'm from over yonder in Arkinsaw and get teased all the time by them there Northern relatives of mine.

    I think me and ole Tennessee will git along jis fine!!

    And Timothy, I have every intention of getting to know all of Eastern Tennessee. I hear it's beautiful over there.

    My first trip will be Spring Break (third week of March). I can't wait!

    BTW, when Arkansas plays Tennessee Saturday night, I'm rootin' for the Vols! :eek: :D ;)

    We may not be pretty, but we are practical. I mean, what other color works for going to the ball-game on Saturday, deer hunting on Sunday, and hauling trash on Monday? :eek:
