You ought to include a "Don't know - not a Baptist" option for those who are merely curious, but without an opinion of her own.

If I guess now, with only two other votes recorded, my guess would dramatically, arbitrarily skew the results.

For a KJVO Cessationist, when did the cessation occur?

A Cessationist, or Cessationism is someone believing that the Chrisitian Spiritual Gifts have ceased.

How about a KJVU. (King James Usually) Do you mean all spiritual gifts are ceased or just some?

As I am aware, Cessationism in most cases does mean all of the Spiritual Gifts..

The question is redundant in that it only involves KJVO people. They are all a bit cessationalists of the mind. KJVO is like saying the only English is Chaucer and we should all be speaking as the Quakers as depicted in the old pictures...thee's and thou's.......pilgrim!

With any bible, the gifts have served their purpose.

    Cheers

    Jim

Yes, but I think the actor was James Stewart in the Civil War movie. Shenandoah

The most fundamental is the person who knows God.

Which Baptist Group is the most fundamental in Christian doctrine?

IFB Non KJVO Cessationist 32% (6)
IFB Non KJVO Non Cessationist 16% (3)
    IFB KJVO Cessationist 37% (7)
IFB KJVO Non Cessationist 16% (3)
    ------------

I'm wondering why the only choices are IFB?

Because the poll limitations dont run to the 240+ groups who globally claim the name Baptist! [IMG]

But considering the Baptist Distinctive of the autonomy of the local church, how can we really know?
