    It was 1994 against LSU, coached by Dale Brown. They were down by 31 with 15 minutes to go. As I remember, Walter McCarty had four 3-pointers, and it was his steal and dunk which gave the Cats the lead with :19 left. Jeff Brassow had four 3's during that final run as well. Ronnie Henderson had 36 and Clarence Caesar had 32 for LSU. Final, UK 99, LSU 95.

    I remember the t-shirts that were made honoring that game. They were purported to have the Jimmy V ("Don't give up...Don't ever give up") Motto and the proceeds were to go to the V Foundation for cancer research. As I recall, there was a ripple because the shirts were never licensed by the V people to do that and the money never got there. Did that ever get resolved?
