Which software to buy?

    Brothers and sisters,

Our church is now entering the screen/projector era of worship ministry. The question we have is, which software package should we buy to use to assemble/project things like song lyrics? We don't have a worship pastor (or other leader) who is knowledgable about such things.

    I've gotten two recommendations:

    1) MediaShout
    2) SongShowPlus

Anyone able to help me discern which is better? Our budget is healthy enough to buy either program. Thanks!

Both will be supported by some here.

A couple of odds & ends:

as of now, I know media shout will NOT run with Windows Vista, so keep that in mind. Dunno about SSP.

What are you currently doing, presentation-wise? PowerPoint? Nothing yet?

    Nothing yet.

We're buying a new computer at the same time, so I assume it will be running Vista.

I have used MediaShout, Songshow Plus, and EasyWorship. Of the three, the most user-friendly for a non-computer guru or musician is definitely EasyWorship. I would definitely check it out as well.
