    WOW! You have a lot of distain for godly scholarship! If folks read the Bible alone instead of supplementing that with reading Bible study helps they are missing out on a lot. It's actually an arrogant attitude.

    Many pastors were subject to a huge disinformation campaign -- and a rather large boycott helped the anti-TNIV agenda also.

    Some may have looked into it and made that conclusion. However, many pastors look up to the BIG NAME evangelical leaders who denounced the TNIV. Many pastors are like their flocks --lemmings at times.
