I'm just curious which version the majority of those who respond use for their daily use. I'm purposely leaving out the KJV and the older versions for obvious reasons.

Don't understnad why the reason is obvious - I use the KJV in my daily use.

I put NKJV because I do refer to it almost daily.

I seldom use just one version...I use the KJV, AV 1611, Bishop's Bible, Geneva Bible, NIV, NKJV, NASV, not necessarily in that order, depending upon what I'm doing...as well as other versions sometimes.

I haven't read the HCSB enough to form any opinion.

I use different versions almost every day. Just whatever I feel like grabbing off the shelf at the time.

I'm cheap. So, on a day to day basis, I read from the KJV NT given to me when I joined my present church. Not that I don't have other versions or full Bibles. However, the NT in question lives at my bedside.

man...I probably don't open a physical Bible more than once every 2-3 days.

I use Biblegateway.com and my software I have on my computer...I use 6-8 versions each week.

I use the KJV study bible for everyday use. I have no other versions in my home, but often refer to several parallel bibles, online.

Well, I use the KJV, CLV, and REV, and none of those choices were given.

I like to use 3 versions for coparison.
    1. King James version
    2. New King James verion.
    3. New Internation version.

The main reason the King James is my first choice is because I use the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance which is cross referenced with the King James Version. I guess that would make me a King James Preferred but not a King James only.

OK, the reason for leaving the KJV off the list isn't obvious so here it is: I am curious as to which version is being used most by those not using the KJV. I didn't want this turning into one of those KJVO debates. That's all.

I use the TNIV primarily . Yet I have 13 translations , so I compare them frequently . Even with a favorite you will find a better rendering in another translation for a particular passage . I always try to consult a commentary and other Bible study helps to arrive at a greater understanding of a passage in question .

My # 2 translation of choice is the HCSB .

    I mainly use the NKJV.

I have many other translations (hard copy and electronic) that I may refer to for comparison, but the NKJV is my mainstay.

Your poll did not show the New Revised Standard Version, which is the one I use regularly.

I mainly use the KJV Study so I didn't vote but have the NIV and also several translations on e-sword for comparison.
