    Actually I believe in saving.

    Here are the first two statement of my personal philosophy on personal finances. [Yes, I have written down my personal philosophy on finances.]


    1. The first 10%, gross, goes to God.
    2. The second 10% goes to savings and investment.

    No need to go into the title.

    Why save the second 10%. There are two reasons:

    1. So I will not burden others when I am elderly and possibly in great need, such as an assisted living home or a nursing home.
    2. So I can help other who are in need that God brings into my life.
