Voted today as a matter of fact, we have early voting in Texas. I voted for a Republican, Democrat and an Independent on the ballot so I'll let you figure it out!

I'm in Texas so my vote for pres doesn't matter much. I made a deal with my friend that I wouldn't vote for Bush if he wouldn't vote for Kerry (he is in CA). Peroutka isn't on the ballot here (or so I've heard), so I'm at a loss.

go2church, how does one vote early in Texas?

Bartlett. He proves to us every week he can handle the job. And if the ratings drop, the people behind the scenes can just write a new script. Wait a minute, am I talking Hollywood or the current White House?

I guess that's why he's responsible for thousands of deaths by waging a totally unjustifiable war.

I'm amazed. For some reason I thought you were a Bush supporter. I'll be voting for Peroutka as well.

I'm voting for George W. Bush!

Who is Peroutka?? I have no idea. If he or she has no chance at all of winning, then why vote for them? Wouldn't it just be a waste?

Really? Check his official agenda...it's very detailed, and abortion isn't even on it. He refuses to make "pro-life" a requirement for judge appointments. He does not think we should work (at least now) to overturn Roe V. Wade. He has made HUGE increases in funding fo rPlanned Parenthood.

I think if your life were on the line, you would not be so quick to rely on this man to save it.

No vote is a waste when you vote your conviction.

Peroutka is the Constitution Party candidate

</font>[/QUOTE]I have never been a Bush "supporter." I thought about a pragmatic vote for him for a while - but just could not do it.

No. Voting one's conscience is never a wasted vote.

I don't believe any vote cast is wasted. The only truly wasted vote is the vote that is never cast.

Pragmatically speaking by looking at the Electoral College, Arkansas is a safe State for President Bush so I will not be affecting the outcome by voting for Michael Peroutka. You live in Florida, Rachel, so your situation is different when it comes to pragmatism if you choose to go that direction.
