I've never been snipped. (I'm just too sweet!) I have been PMed and gently rebuked and questioned. If I do get snipped, I surely will have deserved it. The moderators do a great job and in my opinion display great patience and fairness. No conspiracy.

Just because most of the moderators are wrong about the KJV issue doesn't mean they aren't nice people. :D :D :D

I have been edited, snipped, and deleted, but I ain't crying about it. Almost all were extremely justified (the jury is stillout of a couple). And I am one of the tame ones!

The moderators do what they are supposed to do, I greatly appreciate them for it.

The last (and I think only) time I've been snipped on the versions forum was when I pointed out a bit of traditional Bible exegesis. You came rightly to the conclusion that (by American standards*) that little piece of history was not suitable for a familyforum.

*I am certainly not claiming there is anything wrong with American standards by the way.

As you all know I have been snipped many times. Do I agree that what I posted should have been snipped? Absolutely not! I do not say anything here that is not true, nor unjustified. The rules here seem quite unfair, but hey, what can one do? I try to the best of my ability to follow them. The only time I am really bothered by being snipped, is when the moderators have taken liberty and judgement upon their own selves, and have snipped scripture. This is unacceptable to me, and should never be allowed. This hasn't just been done to my posts, but to Granny Gumbo also. That is one thing if the rules say one is not to refer to the mv's as being corrupt, but to snip scripture to support one's point is not. I have also had analogies of mine snipped, to where I didn't even mention the mv's. So much for the freedom of speech and value of the truth. But many can get away with calling others horrible names and make horrible and untrue accusations. This to me, is very biased, and shows biasness. Sure, the moderators have snipped people on their own side. Whoopdedo! They miss most of the personal attacks on the KJVO's which happens almost on a daily basis by not only the mv proponents, but by the moderators themselves. There is only one fair and unbiased moderator that I have seen on these threads, and that is Pastor Bob. Sure C4K has snipped many of the posts of the mv's, but not in every single case. He lets many more slide.

Do I say the moderators on these threads are biased and unfair? Yes. Most of the time they are, with the exception of Pastor Bob.

    Amen Michelle.

I can agree with you on everything except the part about Pastor Bob cuz I can't recall having any dealings with him.

But I wonder, is there a KJVO, anti CCM, anti liberal moderator anywhere on this forum? I know I've not yet seen one and you would think that out of fairness, if nothing else, there would be a KJVO moderator in the versions forum. The lack of such shows a blatant bias against the truth.

The BB is not a democracy. Abide by the rules or suffer the consequence even if those rules are not governed by the Bill of Rights.

If someone came to your church and stood up in the middle of the sermon and started "speaking in tongues", what would be the consequence?

Again this is a private board and we are all guests. Complaints will be received but that is no gaurantee they will be acted upon.

Try going to a KJVO web site and call the KJV a "Byzantine corruption" and see how long you last.

FWIW, I've never been snipped (yet).

    Jim,

Pastor Bob is a moderator who loves the KJB, and is a TR man. He is, I think the only KJB moderator of the BB boards. He has admitted to being a KJVO #2 or #3, I think. But he is the only one I have seen who shows unbais and fairness as a moderator.

As far as Hanks comments, don't let them bother you. Just because one is a guest, and this is a private forum, should never justify the truth being snipped, and those guests being slandered and falsely accused on a continual basis.

Mioque, ccm is counterfeit christian music, more commanly accepted by the worldly as contemporary christian music.

TY for the heads up on Pastor Bob.

    Thanks Michelle.

Though in my opinion, this whole KJVO #1, #2 is a bunch of garbage. One is either KJVO or one isn't.

Now having said that, and before the mvers can jump on it, I will say that I don't believe that my nephew in Germany, who speaks no English yet, has to learn English to be saved, nor to read a Bible in his language. I have also led JW's to salvation using their corrupt nwt. so I am a straight up KJVO, but I don't go to the extremes that some do, and since it took many years, including several of in depth study for God to lead me into this truth, I try to be patient with those who are not there, but for those who willingly attack the truth, I have very little patience for.

As for what people like Hank says, it doesn't bother me.

Well, since we are mentioning names and biases, let me set the record straight on my stand.

I use only the KJV (I am not going to bother with the "which one" question) for preaching, teaching, Bible study, and my own personal studyg. I do casual reading out of the NKJV.

I guess that qualifies me as anti-KJV.

I disagree. KJVO is as diverse as Baptist. I am a KJVO; Pete Ruckman is a KJVO; I am nothing like Pete Ruckman. I want others to know that when I speak about the version issue.

Since the Word of truth is often "snipped" by those who wish to avoid dealing with it, well....
    Yes! Include me!!

Seems what I want to discuss in terms that deal with the inner man are NOT wanted, BUT the systematic posting of the subjects that FIT the intended purpose of the "mv' propigators, well.....
     :( [IMG]

I notice that the KJVO crowd don't mind coming on here and make statements against our moderators and as of yet only one will answer the direct question put on the poll. I get the feeling that we have some self imposed martyrs and this makes them feel justified to continue to make false claims against the Word of God and their brothers and sisters who donate their time to give us a forum to share, discuss, and yes even debate our convictions. Time to grow up guys, not everyone is out to persecute you.
