Ezekiel 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

I want to make a statement that I come here to learn... That is the reason we all should be here. I do not have an axe to grind and will weigh every brother or sisters input. Sometimes I may teach others and if I give insight and understanding to another or if they likewise do the same for me God gets all the credit. We should all be as the burean brethren and search the scriptures daily as we are instructed to do. No one on here has all the answers but together we may all according the understanding and enlightenment we have come to an interpretation of said scripture. I know there are preachers and teachers on here. There are those who are not of that cloth but have been studying scriptures many years and there are those in between and those just starting. So with all this being said let us reason together... Who Is The King Of Tyrus?... Brother Glen

He is the celestial being of whom 'the prince of Tyre' (a man, v. 2) was the manifestation of in this terrestrial realm. The description fits none other than the old Dragon himself. No doubt he is one (or ultimately all) of these 'kings':

10 and they are seven kings; the five are fallen, the one is, the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a little while.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goeth into perdition. Rev 17

These 'celestial beings' were what the angel (himself a 'celestial being') was referring to in Dan 10:

13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days; but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I am come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I go forth, lo, the prince of Greece shall come.
21 But I will tell thee that which is inscribed in the writing of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me against these, but Michael your prince. Dan 10

There's other references to these 'celestial beings' that have (or had) authority:

2 Son of man, set thy face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal: Ezek 38
1 And thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal: Ezek 39

This 'king of Tyre' is the very same 'king of Babylon' of Isa 14: 4-27.

4 that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! Isa 14

Paul told of these 'celestial entities' and their manifestations in this terrestrial realm:

10 to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, Eph 3
12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Eph 6

Christ spoke of these 'celestial entities' and their manifestations in this terrestrial realm:

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world cometh: and he hath nothing in me; Jn 14:30

How was the 'prince of this world' manifested in this temporal realm?:

Judas then, having received the band of soldiers, and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jn 18:3

I'm trying to figure why you posted this in the Cal/Arm Forum. IMO, it should be in Theology. Any discussion will only be cut short on this forum.

'The world' [the arrangement] Christ was referring to is this one:

20 Jesus answered him, I have spoken openly to the world; I ever taught in synagogues, and in the temple, where all the Jews come together; and in secret spake I nothing. Jn 18

5 And he led him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give all this authority, and the glory of them: for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Lu 4

Who are the rulers of this present world subject to?

What about the world to come, the kingdom of God?

For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. Hebrews 2:5
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Rev 11:15

    The King of Tyrus!

Some folks see a type of Satan in this passage. Perhaps so!

The one thing that can be said about Satan with certainty, as far as I am concerned, is that he is a created being!

I have thought that also... He was in Eden the Garden of God, an anointed cherub, and perfect till iniquity was found in him.

I've heard others say that there was a rebellion in Heaven and that Old Devil was kicked out. Does the scriptures really teach a war in Heaven? I believe the war was in Eden. Iniquity was found in him when he told Eve... Yeah hath God said?... That's my understanding so far!... Brother Glen

Who were the sons of God presenting themselves to in the book of Job?

    Compare:

5 And he led him up, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, To thee will I give all this authority, and the glory of them: for it hath been delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. Lu 4

    With:

18 And Jesus came to them and spake unto them, saying, All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. Mt 28

SOMETHING occurred to change the order of things on earth, what was it? (hint, Col 2:14,15)

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan... Mt 16:23

The same question can be applied to both instances; who is being addressed, man or Satan?

We are in agreement, I think. They were angelic beings inclusive of those who have since fallen. Which took place before the man was created in God's image.

Lucifer sinned, was cast down along with those angelic beings who followed him, and then God created a man from the earth, planted a garden on the earth, and there he put the man he had created, in the presence of the serpent. Man? Why did God create him and what of his children?

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. Heb 2:6-8

Was Adam the heir of God? Could Adam become a joint heir of God?

But now we see not yet all things put under him. Adam? 6:8

    As you said above.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Heb 2:9
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made (born) of a woman, made (born) under the law, Gal 4:4
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by (for) whom also he made the worlds; Heb 1:1,2

A Son, conceived by Spirit God, born of woman, taken from man, created in the image of God, who died is the heir of God. The heir of all things. The one to whom all authority in heaven and on earth would be given and of which the church would be joint heirs thereof.

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Col 1:18

Is that when the Son of God, born of woman became the inheritor of God his Father?

Is it by the grace of having had the Holy Spirit poured upon us, that we have been made joint heirs, of being born from the dead, when he comes to sit on the throne of his glory, to rule with him? The regeneration.

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:6,7
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me in the regeneration, when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Matt 19:28
