    There is a custody battle...

Suppose the roles were reversed. When a single parent is in the military he is required to have a "a written military family care plan "

    So what should happen?

women need to take care of their children, who did she think was going to rasie her child while she was in the military. and as long as she's in the military she's subject to being moved or sent back into a war situation. i don't think she should lose custody, but prehaps whats ebst for the child is joint custody until she's done with the military and is sure she can actually be available to raise the child.

I wonder how often this problem comes up in this current long war situation?
