    I remember that just a few days after the deed, I felt that LBJ had some specific input into the assination, and probably the only part he didn't have was pulling the trigger.
    Probably no need to state it, but I was no LBJ fan!!

    IIRC, I heard about it while driving back to Co. HG while stationed at Ft. Bragg.

    Did LBJ have something to do with it.
    Were the Communists involved?

    Questions we probably will never get answers to.

    Was the factor that all immediate family members must have passed away?
    If so, then Caroline is the only remaining - unless JFK's brothers and sisters are included?
    Not sure, but seems like I heard something like that years ago.

    The CIA says the Kennedy files will not be released due to "National Security" concerns.

    We will see what happens in October when the 1992 law comes to its deadline.

    The original date of release was 2029.

    The President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 was signed into law by President George H. W. Bush on 26 October 1992.

    The Records Collection Act also created an independent board to oversee the declassification effort—the Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB)—and invested it with the power to direct agencies to release documents, with direct appeal to the President as the agencies’ only recourse. The law defined “assassination record” very broadly. It decreed that no records could remain classified beyond twenty-five years of the enactment. In other words, the law mandates that all JFK assassination records must be fully declassified by 26 October 2017.

    But don't hold your breath. The CIA will just say, "Files? What files?"

    They will still be in the process even then of collecting data to try to prove that the now dead president trump colluded with Russia!

    I really think Oswald was the lone gunman. I believe there was a Russian connection, but I have no idea to the extent of their involvement.

    Maybe we should appoint a special prosecutor...since it is believed there is a Russian connection. After all, we don't really need any evidence to appoint a special prosecutor, right?
