Who was First Person in Bible to be Filled With the Holy Spirit?

    During today's sermon our pastor pointed out the first person mentioned in the Bible as being filled with the Holy Spirit.

    Who do you think was the first person filled with the Holy Spirit? Give reasons for your answer.

    The first person the bible SAYS was filled with the Holy Spirit was Bezalel son of Uri. Exodus 31. But that does not mean that God had not filled others prior to that but didn't tell us in the bible.

    Correct on Bezalel being the first person mentioned in the Bible as being filled with the Holy Spirit.
    Incorrect on scripture reference of Exodus 3. It's Exodus 31.
