with the help from another topic, i now know how to create an animated gif file.

however, in trying to build a website, can i actually have my animated gif files within a webpage?

my point is, when we save a particular webpage, there is in our harddisk the webpage and the folder that contains the gif and jpeg files, whereas the main page usually contains only text files.

can it be, however, created that the main webpage have the .gif files within it so that the entire page will only consist of one file - the html file - instead of a main page and a folder containing the pictures?
