    Thanks.

However, I still don't think that invading Iraq was the right thing to do.

The simple answer is because that's what they've been trained to do. Good doggies. Wag wag.

Yes, the issue has been fully discussed in this thread: http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=51868

There are several posts that contain links to sources which prove that Saddam's Iraq had 550 tons of yellow cake, had other WMDs that were shipped to Syria etc., and hosted/sponsored a terrorist training camp.

Now can we stop running down rabbit trails and return to the discussion of the OP's subject?

Agreed and after several pages, I have yet to find links to these alleged cheap shots. And the thread is off topic. So it's closed.

While the thread was closed I opened a thread to clarify any misunderstanding that might exist in what I was saying.

I am happy enough to have this thread closed now and the discussion moved there, but I try not to moderate or admin threads that I start or where I am involved in the debate.

Thanks to LE for giving me the chance to explain myself.

Yes, I will do all that I can to see that Obama is elected in November.

I'm thinking that this Palin pick just might do the trick to getting McCain defeated. I am certain that the pro-choice crowd will rally to keep this religious, right-wing ticket from entering the White House. In fact, while on the BB yesterday, I donated some money to Moveon.org just for the specific purpose of defeating McCain.
