Sadly, many DO! That's right. They will not accept a Spanish or French translation unless it is based on the KJV and its Greek source. We had a missionary who was working in Argentina that was searching for the KJV-based Spanish Bible, since only the KJV was inspired in English.

This is the poison fruit of false doctrinal teaching.

Since thou art the conspirator to the idealogy of labeling those as such, then thou art found guilty and left in want of a justifiable reason, thereby thou hast disqualified thyself to be considered a respected moderator of anysuch matters henceforth. [IMG]

I see thou makest thyself thine own authority when the subject turns into the direction of what is deemed forth as that of a righteous intent, but thou art exposed as one that would hideth thyself amongst the thorns and thistles.

BTW, thou hadst none the real problematic rendering of what I, myself hast said, "neitherforth"

"MEANHAPS"? Canst thou doest to better thine vocabulary than such a poor example?

The bible says not to be easily offended, and to expect persecution for your beliefs.
If you truly feel you are being treated unfairly and your opinion is the truth, why are you complaining that what the bible says will happen is happening?
Somehow I can't picture Paul sitting in prison whining to the guards that they didn't arrest other people who spoke boldly for other things, and that he insisted they treat them all the same.
In other words, if you really feel you're in the truth and you're being persecuted for it, thank God for it and pray for the strength to handle it with grace. Ok?

    Amen, Pastor Bob.

Here is an additional statement concerning the Holy Scriptures that you might enjoy. It comes from a web site owned by an Independent Baptist pastor which I administer.

    1. The Inspiration, Preservation, Identification, and Illumination of the Holy
    Scriptures

I believe the Holy Scriptures were inspired by God the Holy Spirit and were recorded by
men. (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17) They are infallible and inerrant. The God,
who inspired them, is able to preserve them forever. (Psalms 12:6-7) He does this also
through human instrumentality. (Exodus 24, Deuteronomy 18, Jeremiah 36, Malachi 2)
Due to their preservation, they can be received and identified by others, when heard, as
the words of God. (1 Thessalonians 2:13, Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 3) Those Holy
Scriptures are illuminated by the Holy Spirit, which dwells in those who have received
the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:10-14, John 14,16,17, Ephesians 1)

The form in which the Holy Scriptures appear for the English speaking people of today is
the Authorized Version 1611, known as the King James Bible. It is the absolute and final
authority in all matters of faith, practice, and doctrine.

I highly doubt that you even use the AV 1611, but rather an updated KJV.

I would have to agree, Craig. This person probably doesn't use the 1611 KJV, much less own one. But, of course, many will blindly follow the statement, not even realizing what the 1611 KJV was/is, with their "Amen, that is the blessed truth" sort of answers. It is strange how they can make that assertion that the 1611 KJV is the perfect word of God, yet use the 1769 revamp of the version, which has been updated, redone many times. Wonder how they would explain that??? I also wonder if they use the Apocrypha? LOL

Why is it that I feel like I am walking through a psych ward every time I come to this forum  ? (This is a rhetorical question—please don’t answer it!)
