For some reason, no matter where I post, my post count always reads 870, and has done for some time. How am I ever supoosed to reach the 1000 posts club, and why is this happening? Any ideas?

    Hey Ulsterman!

I wouldn't say that. It looks like you finally found someone intelligent enough to carry on a conversation with :)

Little known secret. Ulsterman and I are old friends. In fact the first friend I had on this island :).

I met Ulsterman in the spring of 1992.

My first encounter with an Ulster Irishman :)

Did you know he thinks that they could have won WW2 without the Yanks :).

First of all, in my defence it was early in the morning when I had my premature senior moment. I get brighter as the day goes on. Secondly my views on WW2 were shared with Roger to see how quickly the ire of a Southerner would rise. Quite quickly I would say!! That was a fun conversation, but not nearly as much fun as Roger's fourth hole experience... he'll probably keep quiet about that one.;) BTW Roger, next time you are on this side of the Irish Sea, look us up - haven't seen you and Mary for what seems like ages! Thirdly, every conversation I have with myself has always resulted in me being right!

Now the 4th hole - THAT is a story :).

We really need to get together. I am rarely over there - but next time we will get in touch for sure.

I am glad this worked out, the counter must have stuck. But after Roger gave it a kick the numbers jumped from 870 to 882. Good work Roger!

Hi. Could you please explain how I have been a member of the 1000 club on 3 or 4 different occasions?

It has reverted me back to the 900s on at least 3 or 4 occasions, but as of now it still has me over 1000! I wonder if it will last. Thanks.

AF Guy -- It's one of the quirks of the new BB forum. When threads are deleted, our post count changes. It's been really hard for me, a math teacher, to realize that numbers mean nothing ;)

I've been in one bracket several times and reverted back. :type:
