Why Dems oppose horse & carriage rides

The new Mayor of New York wants to make horses and carriages illegal in New York City, but it is clear that the real reason is so that his Democrat friends can get their hands on some prime real estate where the horse stables are located.

However, the Democrats are also aware that the horses of New York and elsewhere are better off than many Americans. General William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army, first noted this disparity between horses and humans in 19th century England in his book In Darkest England And The Way Out: "when a horse is down he is helped up, and while he lives he has food, shelter and work".

The Democrat policies of high taxes and big government and special privileges for some Democrat voters has put many Americans in dire straights and the Democrats are totally unconcerned about the well-being of others.
