Why Do We Capitalize the Personal Pronoun "I"?

    There is an interesting reason. English is the only language to capitalize this pronoun. I accidentally ran across the explanation.

    Its a cultural norm. Just like capitalizing God when it is a Proper noun. In Greek, there is no capitalization.
