people got excited about the Lord moving in and saving them, and were as a result spreading the Flame outwards...

Much as Pentacost, where the HS moved upon herats, saving 3000, and "boom" went the church off and running!

The best "revival" we ever had was last year. We had no guest speaker, no special music, and no offering. We didn't dress in our Sunday best.

Simply put, we met every night for a week to pray. That's it. We came dressed as we were, from work, from school, or wherever, and we paused to pray. Each night we had a different category of prayer. One night we prayed for the sick, another night was all praise, another night we prayed specifically for our church, and one night we focused on praying for the unsaved.

No one got saved, no one ran down the aisle yelling, no one preached, and we didn't sing an invitation. It was the best revival we ever had. God did more to revive our hearts that week than he did in all the years we've been here. We're going to do it again next month.
