Why I believe that using the KJV is not a compromise

    It's not a matter of opinion. It's a matter of objective fact.
    The KJV certainly is not it. The difference between it and its source texts have been discussed numerous times. It's not a disparity of the KJV, or any other translation. It's a simple fact that no translation can qualify. Why? It has to do with the inhierent nature of differences between English and the source texts of Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic. Plus, the fact that the KJV was originally issued in 1611, and standard Ehglish has changed dramatically over time.

    Don't get me wrong. The KJV is a great translation. But perfect? Absolutely not.
